Webex + OneBill

OneBill & Webx enables channel partners/ resellers to offer Webex solutions to their customers and manage the entire subscription lifecycle, including billing and support.

The OneBill-Webex integration helps you to,

  • Automate your user provisioning to activate, deactivate, and suspend the services using No-Code workflows
  • Charge your customers with one-time, recurring, usage-based, rule-based, or a combination of these pricing models

Webex by Cisco User Provisioning from OneBill

Prerequisites

  1. Active OneBill Account
  2. Active Paid License of Webex Account
  3. A User Account in Webex with Admin Permissions

Connecting Webex Account to OneBill

  1. Goto Sys Admin -> Integration from the side navigation menu and click the Third-Party Integrations tab.
  2. Choose Webex by Cisco, click Connect button to start establishing a connection.
  3. Click the Connect button from the pop up.
  4. Provide the Webex Credentials.
  5. Once the credentials are authenticated, a Consent screen appears.
  6. Acknowledge the permissions requested from Webex by clicking on the Accept button.
  7. OneBill – Webex connection is established.

After Webex Account is connected to OneBill

  1. Goto Pricing -> Products, from the side navigation menu. A product “Webex User Product” and “STANDARD WEBEX USER” price plan for webex is created.
  2. The Webex price plan is configured with all the provisioning parameters needed for the integration.
  3. The Webex charges can be associated with the created price plan.
  4. Goto Pricing -> Services, a service “WEBEX USER for webex is created.

Add Webex User from OneBill

  1. Goto Customer -> Subscribers, from the side navigation menu.
  2. Create a Subscriber by clicking on the Create Subscriber button.
  3. Click on the Create Order button. Product Catalog will be loaded with all Product-Price Plans under each category.
  4. Choose the category as WEBEX, and choose Webex User Product.
  5. Choose a price plan from the Webex price plan list.
  6. Click on the Review button.
  7. From the Review page, click on the Webex product-price plan identifier (eg. Webex User Product / Standard Webex User) to configure the price plan.
  8. From the Dialog, fill the mandatory details to provision a user in Webex.
  9. Click on the Place Order button.
  10. A user is created in the Webex account.

Update Webex User from OneBill

  1. Goto Customer -> Subscribers, from the side navigation menu.
  2. Click on any Subscriber Account.
  3. From the Subscriber One View Page, Click on the Orders tab.
  4. Click on any Order. Review page with all purchased subscriptions will be displayed.
  5. From the Review page, click on the Webex product-price plan identifier (eg. Webex User Product / Standard Webex User) to configure the price plan.
  6. From the Dialog, modify the details of a user in Webex.
  7. Click on the Place Order button.
  8. A user is updated in the Webex account.

Remove Webex User from OneBill

  1. Goto Customer -> Subscribers, from the side navigation menu.
  2. Click on any Subscriber Account.
  3. Click on the Products Owned tab. The Subscription owned by the Subscriber will be displayed.
  4. Click on the gear icon and click Cancel. From the Cancel Subscription Dialog, choose the effective date and click the Confirm button.
  5. The subscription will be canceled in OneBill and the user associated with the Subscription will be removed from the Webex account.

Disable OneBill Webex Integration

  1. Goto Sys Admin -> Integration from the side navigation menu and click the Third-Party Integrations tab.
  2. Choose Webex by Cisco, click the Disconnect button. Click on Yes from the confirmation dialog.
  3. The OneBill Webex integration will be disabled.
